ReRun's Mission

Rerun is one of the oldest and largest Thoroughbred adoption programs in the nation and is now the largest retraining and rehab program in NY. Founded in KY in 1996, Now based in New York, Rerun concentrates its efforts to horses racing and retiring in the North East while also maintaining a sanctuary farm in Maryland which is home to 2008 NY Turf Horse of the Year Dave.

Rerun's premier facility is centrally located in New York close to all racetracks and interstates and offers innovative and comprehensive retirement, rehab and retraining options to owners and trainers while offering potential adopters some of the finest Thoroughbreds available for second careers.

TAA accredited and a proud partner of NYTHA's Take The Lead program. Rerun is the retirement program of choice for Hall of Fame trainer Nick Zito along with many others and annually accepts approx 100 horses for retraining and rehab.

The best ways to support ReRun is either through financial contributions or adopting a ReRun graduate.  But there are may other ways to help, whether by volunteering, donating merchandise for our fund raisers, or just spreading the word on social media.
